The Arts & Cultural Program
The Arts and Cultural program has been focused on creating art installations in and around the Toormina Skate Park area.
Creating Art Installations
Skate Park Tables & Seating
Kirra Ratcliffe, a young artist from Toormina, and Tulli Stevens, a local Gumbaynggirr artist, created artworks for the cement tables and seating at the skate park, creating a sense of community pride and ownership, as well as providing a great opportunity to showcase the work of local young artists.
Infrastructure Improvements
A second art installation will be completed when the infrastructure improvements at the skate park have been finished. In this way, the artwork can be designed to complement and fully integrate with the new work.
