Youth Driven
Working with young people
Young people have been engaged in decision-making and consultation throughout the duration of the Get Connected Toormina project. This includes: skate park design, actively participating in both program co-design and program participation and participating in the surveys and focus groups to inform community aspirations and community assets.
Supporting Toormina High School Initiatives
Develop Leadership Skills
Supporting initiatives to further develop leadership skills, including induction activities for the 2021 school leadership group of 32 students.
Environment Program
Supporting the implementation of an Environment Program in the school and the Toormina community (which is youth led and youth driven).
Tomorrow Man Tomorrow Woman
Assisting young people to define and own their unique story, and thereby enabling them to confidently navigate a world of expectations, demands and emotional complexity, creating a healthier life for themselves and the people they love.
